Privacy notice and terms
How this site handles what you tell it, and the terms on which it is offered. Effective 8 September 2026.
Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal information MUYANO IT Consultancy Corporation ("MUYANO", "we") collects through muyano.ai, why, and what your rights are. We process personal information in accordance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its implementing rules, and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission.
Who we are
MUYANO IT Consultancy Corporation, SEC Registration No. 2025010186311-00, 21F Park Triangle Corporate Plaza, North Tower, 11th St. cor. 32nd Ave., Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Philippines. For anything about this notice or your personal information, write to lmm@muyano.ai.
What we collect, and when
- Browsing. Reading this site collects nothing about you. We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) for security and operation, retained for a limited period.
- The diagnostic ("Where are you?"). Your answers are processed in your browser and are not sent to us unless you enter an email address to receive your result. If you do, we receive that address and the result once, send the result to you, and do not add the address to any list.
- The site assistant ("Ask MUYANO"). The assistant answers from the content of this site. Conversations are held only for your session and are not stored by us afterwards. If the assistant is connected to an AI model, the text you type is sent to that provider to generate a reply and is not used to train its models under our terms with them.
- Booking a discovery call. The booking page uses Calendly. The details you enter there (name, email, company headcount, the situation you describe, and your chosen time) are collected by Calendly under its own privacy policy and shared with us so we can hold the call. Calendly may set cookies within its widget.
- Writing to us. If you email us, we keep the correspondence for as long as it is relevant to the matter you raised.
Why we use it
To send you a result you asked for; to arrange and hold a discovery call you booked; to answer your correspondence; to keep the site secure and working. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for marketing you did not ask for.
Legal basis
We rely on your consent (when you ask for a result by email), on the steps needed to respond to your request or enter into an engagement with you (when you book a call or write to us), and on our legitimate interests in operating a secure website.
Who else sees it
Service providers who process information on our behalf and only for the purposes above: our web host, our email provider, Calendly for bookings, and, where enabled, the AI provider behind the site assistant. Each is bound by its own privacy terms and by contract or terms of service with us. We do not otherwise share personal information unless the law requires it.
Where it is kept, and for how long
Some providers operate outside the Philippines; where personal information leaves the country we ensure it is protected to a standard consistent with the Data Privacy Act. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected: a diagnostic result is sent and not retained; booking and correspondence records are kept while the matter is live and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, then deleted or anonymised.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Information we hold is kept in access-controlled systems available only to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable organisational, physical and technical measures to protect what you give us.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to be informed about how your personal information is processed; to access it; to correct it; to object to processing; to have it erased or blocked where the law allows; to data portability; to be indemnified for damages arising from unlawful processing; and to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission. To exercise any of these, write to lmm@muyano.ai. We respond within the periods the law sets.
Children
This site is for business decision-makers and is not directed at anyone under eighteen. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Changes
If this notice changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date. Material changes to how we use information you have already given us will be communicated to you where we are able to.
Terms of use
By using muyano.ai you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.
What the site is
This site describes the services of MUYANO IT Consultancy Corporation and offers a way to book a conversation. Its content, including the diagnostic and the site assistant, is general information about how we work. It is not professional, legal, financial or technical advice on your situation, and no engagement, contract or professional relationship is formed by using the site, taking the diagnostic, talking to the assistant, or booking a call. Advice is given only under a written engagement.
The diagnostic and the assistant
The diagnostic places your answers within a general model of transformation stages; it is a starting point for a conversation, not an assessment of your enterprise. The assistant is automated, answers from the content of this site, and may be incomplete or wrong. Do not rely on either for a decision without speaking to us.
Intellectual property
The content of this site, including its text, structure, the eight-domain scope of services, the diagnostic, the MUYANO name and mark, and the design, belongs to MUYANO IT Consultancy Corporation or its licensors. You may read it and share links to it. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or use it commercially without our written permission, other than brief quotations with attribution.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site in any way that breaks the law, interferes with its operation, attempts to gain unauthorised access to any system, or submits false information through the diagnostic, the assistant or the booking page.
Third-party services and links
Booking runs on Calendly, and the site may link to other websites, including LinkedIn. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which we do not control and for which we are not responsible.
Availability and accuracy
We aim to keep the site available and its content accurate, but we provide it "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time without notice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Philippine law, MUYANO IT Consultancy Corporation is not liable for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or its content, or from reliance on anything on it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Governing law
These terms and the privacy notice are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes arising from them are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Taguig City, without prejudice to any right you have under the Data Privacy Act to complain to the National Privacy Commission.
Changes and contact
We may revise these terms; the version posted here with its effective date is the one that applies. Questions about these terms: lmm@muyano.ai.
