How we work

Most of what goes wrong in a transformation was decided before the first workshop: who sits on which side of the table, who owns the design, what happens when the plan meets the vendor. This is how MUYANO sets those things up.

The owner's side

We work for the enterprise that is paying for the transformation, and only for it. MUYANO is vendor-neutral. We earn nothing from any software vendor or integrator for recommending them: no referral fees, no resale margins, no commissions, and no payment tied to any advice we give. Vendors sponsor MUYANO GolfTech; that buys a place at a tournament, not a place in our recommendations, and every recommendation we make is documented with its reasons so you can check. If we architect or govern a program, any delivery we could do on it is scoped and priced separately and awarded, or not, by you.

How the firm is built

Every engagement is led by the principal. Around her is a small core team and a network of vetted associates by discipline, brought in against the program plan. Everyone works to MUYANO's architecture standards and governance cadence; you see one firm and one accountable name. The team is sized to the roadmap, so you never pay for a bench.

The questions we are usually asked

You're a young firm.

MUYANO is young. The practice behind it is not: two decades of enterprise and program work, twenty-six projects, fourteen full-cycle SAP implementations across six countries, and transformation programs governed at CFO and board level. The firm is the vehicle. The record came first.

Can you staff a multi-year program?

A small core team, led by the principal on every engagement, with vetted associates by discipline brought in against the program plan. Everyone works to MUYANO's architecture standards and governance cadence. The team is sized to the roadmap, so you never pay for a bench.

What happens if the principal is unavailable?

Every engagement runs to a standard where the work does not live in one person's head: an architecture repository, a decision log, a governance calendar. That is the same discipline we install in a client. If our own work could not survive a handover, we would have no business advising on yours.

Are you independent of SAP and of the implementers?

Yes. We never work both sides of the same program. The principal spent nine years on the implementer side; that is where she learned how estimates are built and where the margin sits, and it is why we sit on your side of the table.

Why not a Big Four practice?

For some programs a large firm is the right answer, and we will tell you so. What a large practice cannot give you is the architect who designed the target state sitting in your steering committee until the value is realized. That continuity is what we sell.

What stops you recommending work you then deliver?

Design and delivery are scoped and priced separately; you can take either without the other. Where MUYANO could deliver a piece of what it recommends, we say so in the recommendation, and the decision to award it stays with you.

Where we work

MUYANO is headquartered in Bonifacio Global City, Manila, and delivers remotely to any geography, on site where the work requires it. The principal has delivered in six countries.
